* * * * * *
Our September Forum speaker is a young priest of the Franciscan Missionaries of the Eternal Word located in Birmingham Alabama. Recently founded by Mother Angelica, this men’s order strives to evangelize the world and call back the stray "sheep", mainly through the apostolate of the Global Catholic Network – EWTN.
Fr. Dominic was ordained to the Holy Priesthood in 2004 after attending Mount St. Mary’s Seminary in Emmitsburg, Maryland. He currently serves as Chaplain for the employees of EWTN and also serves as Assistant Chaplain at the Shrine of the most Blessed Sacrament in Hanceville Alabama, which is also the home of Mother Angelica and her Poor Clare Nuns of Perpetual Adoration.
For those of you who are EWTN fans, Father Dominic often celebrates the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass on television. He minces no words in his homilies as he proclaims the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
He was a recent visitor to our area when he participated in the EWTN 25th Anniversary Celebration at the St. Charles Family Resource Center.

DA VINCI CODE PRAYER VIGILS
DA VINCI CODE PRAYER VIGILS
The American TFP and its America Needs Fatima campaign is organizing 1,000 prayer vigils in front of theaters nationwide against The Da Vinci Code movie. The movie is scheduled to come out on May 19th.
Hundreds of protest groups are forming in all 50 states. Here in the St. Louis area at least 7 prayer vigils are planned in the city and throughout the region. This network of prayer vigils are peaceful and public acts of reparation — perhaps the most extensive public act of reparation ever in America. Join the growing anti-blasphemy crusade in America
Archbishop Angelo Amato, Secretary of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, said in a speech “I hope you all boycott that film”. Cardinal Arinze has said “Christians must not just sit back and say it is enough for us to forgive and forget. ... Sometimes it is our duty to do something practical”. Our own Archbishop Burke supports peaceful protest of this film’s exhibition.
Our prayer vigil in the city will be led by Mr. John Horvat in front of The Chase Park Plaza Movie Theater. Tentative time for the vigils is from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. We will be praying the Rosary and other prayers.
For more information, please contact; Mark Serafino 573-459-5531, Mrs. Anne Zivnuska 314-997-3307.
