He has appeared on thousands of television and radio shows speaking on civil liberties and social issues.
He began his career as a teacher in the 1970s working at St.Lucy’s School in New York’s Spanish Harlem.
In 1977 he took a position teaching at La Roche College in Pittsburgh. He obtained his PhD in sociology from New York University in 1980.
He is the author of 4 books and serves on the advisory board of The Washington Legal Foundation, The Educational Freedom Foundation, The Society of Catholic Social Scientists, Catholics United for the Faith and many more.
